Heritage Baptist Church begins Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30. A hospitality meal follows at noon, then afternoon worship starts at 1:30. Sermons are interpreted simultaneously into Spanish during both services. Wednesday at 6:30 brings prayer meeting, children’s and youth classes, and a Spanish Bible study, allowing the Shreveport congregation to function as one church in multiple languages.

Worship is deliberately ordered around what the church calls the public means of grace: reading, praying, singing, and preaching Scripture, plus the ordinances. Morning sermons move verse by verse through a New Testament book; afternoon preaching covers the Old Testament. Children and youth study at 9:30 Sunday and 6:30 Wednesday, with an emphasis on biblical memory, doctrine, and applying Scripture rather than entertainment alone. The shared meal makes the two-service Lord’s Day workable and provides newcomers an unusually natural way to meet people before returning for afternoon worship.
