Cedar Crest Baptist Church

About this church

Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe offers Sunday worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., with Life Groups for all ages at 9:45. Wednesday worship, prayer, and Bible study begin at 6:30 p.m. The church explains that children in kindergarten through fifth grade begin the early service with their families, leave for Kids Church, and return before the service ends; nursery care is available for children from birth through age three. Its visitor material also highlights safety practices in children's ministry.

The congregation organizes its mission around three active verbs: abiding in Christ, engaging in community, and investing in God's kingdom. That structure carries into ministries for children, women, and missions as well as age-based Sunday groups. The Wednesday gathering is open to everyone and combines worship, prayer, and Bible study rather than treating those as separate events. For newcomers comparing churches in the West Monroe area, Cedar Crest offers useful flexibility: two Sunday service times with a dedicated education hour between them, a documented plan for younger children, and a midweek gathering that supports continued connection. The official website also provides a clear statement of Baptist beliefs for visitors who want doctrinal context before attending.
