Riverside Assembly

About this church

Riverside Assembly in Fairfield holds Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:30, and an evening service at 6:00. The congregation is Pentecostal and describes its purpose in terms of worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, and sharing the gospel. Its Sunday schedule gives visitors a choice between the main morning gathering and a smaller evening service, while classes before worship add a teaching-focused way to begin the day.

One of Riverside’s most distinctive ministries happens beyond its building. On Saturdays, volunteers serve in Kennedy Park in Lewiston from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with an outdoor church service at 12:30. The ministry began through outreach to Lewiston’s Somali community and now also assists people experiencing homelessness and others in need. Teams distribute essentials such as food and clothing while building relationships and offering prayer. Riverside Assembly is at 32 Water Street in Fairfield. Visitors interested in the Lewiston outreach can contact the church before going, since outdoor plans and supply needs may shift with weather or season. For a conventional first visit, Sunday morning combines the congregation’s education hour and principal worship service in one trip.
