Macedonia Baptist Church of Baltimore City holds Sunday Bible study from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and begins worship promptly at 10:00. Adults study in the main sanctuary while children meet downstairs. The Praise and Worship team opens the service with projected lyrics so guests can participate comfortably. Clothing ranges from suits to jeans and T-shirts. Parking is available beside and across from the church, with security volunteers monitoring the lots and helping people cross when possible.

The congregation's mission is to bring people in a wounded and fragmented world into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ through God's Word. Its Baltimore roots reach to a Sunday School begun in a stable loft in 1872, which became an organized Baptist church in 1875. Current ministries include youth discipleship, marriage support, women's fellowship, weddings, and a food pantry and clothing closet that address hunger, poverty, health, education, and economic information. Ushers work to make the building feel like a family space for all who enter. Newcomers can attend the study hour before worship or arrive shortly before 10:00 and ask security or ushers for guidance.
