Shiloh began as a 35-member mission in November 1968 and held its first service at Glenarden Woods Elementary School that December. It became Shiloh Baptist Church of Landover in 1969, worshiped in the municipal center, opened a building in 1980, and dedicated a larger facility in 1997. Outreach rotates across ministries month by month so the whole congregation participates. Projects include food for the Capital Area Food Bank, support for single parents in school, men's shelter clothing, backpacks and school supplies, cold-weather items for several Prince George's County communities, and missions in Ghana. Teens in Transformation serves youth age twelve through high school on first and third Fridays at 7:30 p.m. with mentoring, leadership, Bible study, and community activity.
