Ebenezer Baptist Church

About this church

Ebenezer Baptist Church in Joppa begins Sunday biblical education at 9:30 a.m., placing youth in both levels of the Education Building and adults in the main sanctuary. Morning worship follows at 11 in the sanctuary. Wednesday Bible study meets at 7 p.m. and is available through Facebook Live, while Sunday services have online streaming options through Facebook and YouTube. Call-in prayer includes a men's prayer night Tuesday at 7, “Morning Manna” Wednesday at 5 a.m., and a women's prayer night Thursday at 7. Visitors should distinguish those phone-based prayer gatherings from programs held at the church.

Established in 1917, Ebenezer has kept a long record of pastors and local ministry through changing generations. Its current mission is to witness, worship, reach, teach, and preach God's Word to all people. The Sunday schedule creates a straightforward education-to-worship path, with ninety minutes between the listed start times; families should go directly to the Education Building for youth classes, while adults begin in the sanctuary. Remote participants have several access modes, but the services page assigns them selectively: Bible study is explicitly on Facebook Live, and the prayer lines use telephone details. A newcomer planning to attend in person can arrive before 9:30 for education or choose 11 a.m. worship alone. Dated church activities should be checked separately from this recurring weekly pattern.
