About this church
Trinity Episcopal Church is an Episcopal parish on Allegheny Avenue in Towson, Maryland. Sunday mornings offer two services of Holy Eucharist, Rite II: a spoken 8 a.m. service in Lee Chapel and a 10:15 a.m. service with music, which is also livestreamed. On Wednesdays at 6 p.m., the parish holds an evening prayer service called Wednesday Night Live!, also available by livestream. The parish describes itself as an inclusive, caring and Christ-centered community and identifies as an affirming church.
Between the two Sunday services, adult formation meets seasonally in Memorial Hall for book discussions and studies of history, theology and spiritual poetry, and a Brown Bag Bible Study meets Thursday mornings on Zoom. Children are welcome in worship, with quiet toys on hand, while the parish works with families on a new approach to children's formation. Coffee hours follow both Sunday services, and seasonal fellowship events have included fruit canning, trivia and bingo. Outreach efforts support refugees, fill backpacks and collect winter gear for students at a nearby elementary school, gather food for a local church food pantry, and maintain a Little Free Library near the entrance sign in the courtyard. The campus is also home to Trinity Episcopal Preschool, and The Surprise Shop thrift store operates next door. Service times can change, so confirm them on the website before visiting.
