Allegan's only Latter-day Saint meetinghouse is at 687 Linn St, about 18.3 miles from the nearest other building in Kalamazoo. The Allegan Branch meets there at 10 a.m. for sacrament meeting, an hour built around hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, and the building stays open through 12 p.m.

A second hour of classes follows immediately, with children attending Primary apart from the adult classes. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not charge for attendance, nor does it pass a collection plate at any point in the service. Coming dressed casually is entirely acceptable, even though many longtime members wear more formal clothing on Sundays. The entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
