Immanuel Lutheran Church

About this church

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Big Rapids currently publishes Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m., in person and by Facebook livestream. The congregation’s mission emphasizes devotion to Jesus, care for one another, welcoming outreach, and service to neighbors. Its vision highlights hospitality, passionate worship, intentional faith development, mission, service, and generosity.

Immanuel also hosts the Tuba Bach Chamber Music Festival, with recorded concerts available online, adding a distinctive musical connection to community life. Visitors can review the monthly worship page for the scheduled pastor, Scripture readings, and any service-specific information. A first-time household should arrive before 9:30 or use the official Facebook stream, then ask about current children’s or education programs because the published schedule does not assign a fixed class hour. The site lists worship month by month, so visitors should check the current page before every trip rather than assuming the same time persists through seasonal changes.
