Faith Baptist Church

About this church

Faith Baptist Church in Davison begins Sunday with Life Groups for every age at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30 and an evening service at 5. The church centers each service on Scripture through congregational singing, public Bible reading, prayer, and expositional preaching that explains and applies a passage. The evening gathering has a more informal family character. Nurseries are available, and children through fourth grade can attend Children's Church during the 10:30 service.

The congregation describes itself candidly as a group of imperfect people learning together to love God and others. Its Baptist beliefs include salvation through repentance and faith, baptism of believers through immersion, and Communion. Family ministry is structured rather than incidental: Sunday School offers age-appropriate teaching, and Wednesday Kids of Faith gives preschool and elementary children a Bible-centered hour from 7 to 8 p.m. Adults have Wednesday small-group studies at the same time. New visitors can choose the morning service for the fullest range of children's support, or attend the 5 p.m. service for a smaller family-style gathering. The official visitor material explains the service content in unusual detail, making Faith a practical option for someone specifically looking for verse-by-verse preaching and a weekly combination of large worship and smaller Bible study.
