Thornapple Covenant Church is a Grand Rapids congregation whose mission is to help people find and follow Jesus at every stage of life. Sunday worship is supported by children’s, student, adult, and international mission programs, with small groups and service offering further next steps. Children’s ministry uses screened, background-checked volunteers and provides individualized special-needs care by arrangement. Nursery, age-appropriate Bible teaching, and a monthly pattern of children returning for Communion help families participate in the congregation rather than remain separated from it.

In-person and online worship begins Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Children age four through sixth grade start in the sanctuary and then move to their program; on third Sundays they return after the sermon for Communion. Students similarly leave after the opening songs for teaching, small groups, and food from about 10:20 to 11:00, but remain for the full third-Sunday service. Nursery care is open during indoor worship. Adults have two Wednesday study options from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Families needing special-needs support should contact the church in advance so individualized care can be arranged.
