Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church

About this church

Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hartland celebrates Divine Service at 9:30 a.m. Sundays, followed by Sunday School and Adult Bible Study at 11:00. The congregation is a confessional, liturgical member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Scripture, preaching, historic prayer, hymns, and Holy Communion shape worship, with both individual and common cups available during Communion.

Adult and youth catechesis follows the education hour, while children are intentionally welcomed into the liturgy rather than treated as distractions. During the regular school year, Thursday Responsive Prayer and liturgics begin at 8:10 a.m. Holy Week and festival schedules add services such as evening Divine Service, Tenebrae, the Easter Vigil, and festival worship, so seasonal visitors should use the special-services page. First-time families can arrive before 9:30 for Divine Service and remain for formation. People unfamiliar with confessional Lutheran practice can review the beliefs and children-in-worship resources before attending or contact the church with Communion questions.
