Jackson’s First Presbyterian Church

About this church

Jackson’s First Presbyterian Church gathers for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m., with an online broadcast available for people who want to preview the service or join from home. Families worship together rather than separating immediately; the church provides activity centers where children can draw or play quietly. Drivers can use the lot behind the building, with overflow parking east of the church behind The Hive. Designated accessible spaces sit near doors 2 and 4, and the elevator is just inside door 4—useful details for a first visit to this downtown Jackson congregation.

The church’s community life reaches well beyond Sunday morning. Its mission partnerships and recurring service include clothing and school-supply support, Love INC, a local shelter, recovery groups, Red Cross blood drives, and use of the building as an election site. Worship, fellowship, and practical neighborhood care therefore share the same profile. Visitors comparing Presbyterian churches in Jackson will find a congregation with a clearly explained arrival plan, livestream access, room for children in worship, and several concrete ways to serve. Because parking arrangements and ministry schedules can change, check the church calendar before attending a special event.
