The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Jonesville

About this church

Jonesville Ward is the only congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that the directory lists for Jonesville, Michigan, meeting at 425 Parkwood Drive. Coldwater holds the nearest other meetinghouse, about eighteen and a half miles off, and this building's entrance, parking, restroom, and seating are each wheelchair accessible.

Sunday worship runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., an hour of sacrament meeting, hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from ward members, followed by classes and Primary for children. A guest is never charged, and no collection plate circulates through the room. Some dress formally for the day, others come plainly, and both are typical. Given how far this ward sits from any other meetinghouse, confirming the time with a quick call before a first visit is worth the effort, since schedules like this can shift from year to year.
