Berean Baptist Church

About this church

Berean Baptist Church in Livonia offers two in-person Sunday services at 8:30 and 11 a.m.; the 11 a.m. gathering is also livestreamed. Visitors can enter from Victor Parkway and park in either the front or rear lot. The congregation describes worship as an expression of gratitude and joy, with sustained attention to Scripture and encouragement among believers. Watching a recent service online can help newcomers understand the preaching and worship before choosing between the two in-person hours.

Founded in 1940, Berean is an independent, Calvinistic Baptist church led by a plurality of elders and served by deacons. Its purpose begins with loving and worshiping God, then extends to Christian fellowship, church membership, sharing the gospel locally, biblical counseling, and partnership with missionaries and mission organizations. The church practices believer's baptism by immersion and communion as ordinances that point to Christ's saving work. Its public information is especially useful for adults evaluating theology and church governance, but it does not provide a complete current schedule for nursery, children's classes, or youth gatherings. Families should therefore confirm age-specific arrangements directly. A visitor seeking the largest range of remote and in-person options can choose 11 a.m.; the earlier 8:30 service provides the same opportunity to gather with the church family without relying on a stream.
