About this church
Monitor Twp, Michigan is home to a meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 5141 Kasemeyer Rd. This meetinghouse stands alone in Monitor Twp; the nearest other is 12.1 miles away in Saginaw.
The Bay City Ward holds sacrament meeting here at 10 a.m. The first hour includes hymns, opening and closing prayers, the sacrament, and talks from members of the congregation; a second hour of classes follows, including one for children. A wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating make the building easy to visit. Nobody is asked to contribute money; there's no collection plate. Since this schedule is set locally and periodically revised, a quick call before a first visit is a good habit.
