About this church
Living Word Muskegon is a Full Gospel, charismatic congregation that began as a 1985 Bible-study church plant shaped by the Word of Faith movement. It describes itself as Apostolic and prophetic, affirming miracles, signs, wonders, the Holy Spirit, tongues, praise, and biblical preaching. Its multigenerational community connects worship with children, youth and young adults, prayer, teaching, outreach, and free services for senior citizens.
Sunday services begin at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with midweek worship Wednesday at 7:00 and an online service stream. Gatherings last about ninety minutes and include band-led music, projected lyrics, expressive Spirit-filled worship, prayer, announcements, and preaching. Children from infancy through age twelve worship with their families before dismissal to classes. First-time check-in takes about ten extra minutes; matching tags control release, a child’s code appears on screen if a parent is needed, and a private nursing room is available. Youth in grades seven through twelve study Wednesday at 7:00, while youth and young adults through age twenty-seven gather about monthly on announced dates. The church states that a trained security team is present. Public pages do not specify dress, parking, accessibility, volunteer screening, Communion practice, which Sunday service streams, or elevator access to lower-level children’s rooms.
