Faith Alive Church Standish

About this church

Faith Alive in Standish holds its main worship service on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. at its building on Pine River Road. The church describes its purpose as connecting the local community with Christ, and its statement of beliefs is based on the Assemblies of God's 16 Fundamental Truths. Recordings of recent Sunday services and sermons are posted to the church's website through its Facebook videos, so a first-time visitor can watch a past service to get a feel for the gathering before attending. Times can change, so confirm on the website before visiting.

The church runs several gatherings beyond Sunday morning. Mid Week Refuel starts at 6 p.m. with a shared dinner, followed by Bible study at 6:30 p.m. A women's Bible study meets at the church on Wednesdays for prayer, study and discussion, with its time adjusted as needed. The Deeper men's group meets at the church two Saturdays a month for breakfast and Bible study, and participants are asked to bring a Bible and a notebook. A prayer group gathers in the worship center on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at 6:30 p.m. Through its Salt and Light outreach, the church provides clothing, hygiene kits, emergency supplies and other help to local residents facing urgent needs, and it invites community partners to take part.
