Christ, Our Light! Parish is a Troy Catholic community formed in 2013 by the joining of St. Alan in Troy and St. Columban in Birmingham. The parish describes itself as a friendly, inviting community of about 1,000 families near Somerset Mall. Saturday vigil Mass begins at 4 p.m.; Sunday Mass is at 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. Weekday Mass meets Tuesday through Thursday at 9 a.m. and Friday at 12:05 p.m. Saturday confession begins at 3 p.m. or is available by appointment. Holy-day Mass is normally at 9 a.m., noon, and 7 p.m., unless announced otherwise.
