Destiny Church

About this church

Destiny Church is an Ashby congregation with Pentecostal beliefs and a history reaching to a 1977 Bible study for teenagers and young adults. Eight people attended its first formal farmhouse meeting in 1980; the church later grew at the Interstate 94 Exit 77 property and opened Destiny Fitness in 2000 as a gym and gathering place for youth, families, athletes, and community groups. Sunday worship features energetic music, a practical faith-centered message, prayer ministry, refreshments, and conversation afterward.

The Sunday service runs from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Children’s environments use small groups, interactive Bible lessons, music, and activities, while a mother’s room carries the service on a large screen and a family restroom supports children in the toilet-training stage. Resolute Youth meets Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Destiny Fitness; the homepage’s event feed describes the wider Wednesday block as 6:00 to 8:30, so students should follow the youth page or confirm that week’s start. The church’s belief statement emphasizes new birth through repentance and faith, the present work and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and prayer for healing and wholeness. Additional recurring events shown on the homepage include a monthly men’s bonfire and third-Sunday gathering, but details should be checked in the current calendar.
