Chisago Lake Lutheran Church

About this church

Chisago Lake Lutheran Church is a Center City congregation gathering around God’s Word, the sacraments, music, learning, and service. Its historic sanctuary hosts traditional Sunday worship, while a shorter Tuesday service uses contemporary live or recorded music tied to the prior Sunday’s lesson and sermon. Sunday School, adult learning, children’s choir, youth formation, and online worship provide several paths into congregational life. The visitor guide welcomes casual or dressier clothing and notes upper and lower parking lots plus an elevator from the newer addition.

Traditional worship begins Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in person and online, followed by fellowship at 10:00 and Sunday School and adult learning at 10:15 during the program year. The contemporary Tuesday service runs from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. Communion is normally served during the first and third weekly services. During summer, the homepage also advertises Worship on the Water at the Center City docks Sunday at 10:30. Sunday School for ages three through fifth grade generally runs September through May; parents should confirm holiday weekends and the summer waterfront schedule before attending.
