Emmanuel Lutheran Church

About this church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elk River holds traditional worship Sundays at 9:00 a.m., with Holy Communion celebrated at every service. The congregation’s visitor information explains the Lutheran worship setting and directs guests to its Main Street campus, which also houses Guiding Hands Preschool. Sunday School operates from September through May rather than year-round.

Children and adults participate in education, music, fellowship, and service ministries, while a community-outreach coordinator helps connect church life with local needs. A first-time household should arrive before 9:00 for seating and Communion guidance, then ask about Sunday School if visiting during the school year. Families interested in the preschool should contact that program separately, since school enrollment and church worship follow different schedules. The what-to-expect page can make the liturgy more familiar in advance. Summer, holiday, and festival Sundays may have different education or worship details, so visitors should verify the current homepage notice before attending.
