St. Philip's Lutheran Church

About this church

St. Philip's Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation in Fridley offering traditional worship Sunday at 9 a.m. and contemporary worship at 10:30 a.m. Both services are livestreamed on the church website and YouTube and normally include singing, special music, Bible readings, prayer, and a sermon. Communion is celebrated at each service, with grape juice, gluten-free wafers, and sealed individual cups available. Baptized visitors who already receive Communion in their home congregation are invited to participate. Dress is generally casual and comfortable, and screens display the service order, readings, hymns, and announcements.

Children and youth discipleship meets Sunday from 9:20 to 10:20 a.m. during the school-year dates shown on the homepage. A hearing loop serves the sanctuary's middle sections, and personal listening devices are available in back. More than a dozen accessible parking spaces, curb cuts, automatic doors, wheelchair seating, and an entirely one-level interior support visitors with mobility needs. The west lot off West Moore Lake Drive is closest to the sanctuary entrance, with additional parking east of the building. Formation, caring ministries, support groups, prayer, adult learning, young adults, First Communion, Confirmation, community service, and youth mission trips round out church life. The visitor material does not state service length, child check-in procedure, or nursery availability.
