Messiah Lutheran Church

About this church

Messiah Lutheran Church is a Lakeville congregation connecting worship, intergenerational formation, and practical care for neighbors. Its two Sunday gatherings share Lutheran worship while giving families more than one morning option, and the earlier service is livestreamed for people joining from home. Children can take part in Sunday ministry and the optional Word on Wednesday program for preschool through fourth grade. The congregation’s community work includes the Messiah Community Food Shelf as well as support for organizations and service beyond the church campus.

The current summer schedule lists Sunday worship at 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. The 8:00 service is streamed, while the final Sunday of the month places the 9:30 gathering outdoors. Messiah also announces a schedule change beginning September 13: worship returns to 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., with the livestream moving to 10:30. Families considering Word on Wednesday should note that it runs from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. only when sufficient registrations allow the program to operate. Because the posted Sunday hours are seasonal, visitors should check the worship page for the date of their visit rather than assuming one set of times year-round.
