About this church
Christ Lutheran Church in Marine on St. Croix worships Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in person, by livestream, and on demand. The hour-long service uses a traditional Lutheran pattern of singing, prayer, Scripture, sermon, and Holy Communion. From May into early October, worship may move outdoors to the church lawn, giving summer and early-autumn visitors a different setting while retaining the same published hour.
The congregation describes itself as a welcoming community that grows people for loving service in God’s world. Ministries include a community garden, meals for people experiencing homelessness, food-shelf support, medical-supply projects, children and youth programs, and faith milestones such as Baptism and First Communion. Into the Deep on Wednesdays includes a free meal at 5:30 p.m., children’s ministry shortly before 6:00, and contemporary worship at 6:30 when the program is in session. A first-time visitor should confirm whether Sunday worship is inside or on the lawn and check the current Wednesday season before attending midweek.
