St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

About this church

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is a New Ulm congregation that has worshiped, grown, and served together since 1865. A member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, it describes its mission as making and nurturing disciples of Jesus. Church and school ministries include Sunday and Wednesday education, nursery care, confirmation, teen fellowship, mission trips, family Bible nights, prayer, and Christ-centered preschool through school-age learning.

Sunday services begin at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.; the 9:30 service streams live. A nursery in the Parish Center and an infant quiet room at the rear of the church give families two options, and coffee and treats are served between services. The Sunday service is rebroadcast Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on New Ulm community-access television, while a Lutheran chapel program airs Sunday from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. on KNUJ radio; those broadcasts are not additional in-person services. SPLaT welcomes grades seven through twelve, usually gathering twice monthly on Saturday evenings, with dates and locations posted in the bulletin. Visitors can choose any Sunday hour, using 9:30 when online participation is important.
