Faith Community Church

About this church

Faith Community Church in Pipestone offers Sunday worship at 8:30 and 10 a.m. Its official site characterizes the services as modern and energetic, with a worship team inviting the congregation into active praise. An open prayer gathering begins Sunday at 7:30 a.m., providing an earlier entry point before either service, and a second prayer meeting is held Thursday at 8 a.m. The two-service pattern lets households choose an early or midmorning gathering without changing campuses.

The congregation's purpose is to honor God by equipping a community of believers to help other people experience relationship with Jesus. Although the present name is Faith Community Church, its history reaches to a Baptist congregation organized by five people in 1882. The current building opened for worship in November 1959 after extensive donated labor, and the church retains Baptist-shaped beliefs about believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. Ministries include middle- and high-school youth, adult teaching and fellowship, a men's breakfast during the school year, and a monthly women's book club. The public youth page explains its goal of helping students connect with God but leaves some meeting details incomplete, so families should request the current calendar. Visitors mainly deciding between services can rely on the two clearly published Sunday hours and preview the congregation's worship music online.
