Christ Lutheran Church

About this church

Christ Lutheran Church is a Preston congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America with a simple mission: love God, love people, and follow Jesus. Sunday worship, open Communion, children, confirmation, youth, adults, livestreaming, radio, home Communion, prayer, service, and community activities extend worship from the sanctuary into southeastern Minnesota.

Sunday worship begins at 9:00 a.m. and streams on Facebook. KFIL 103.1 FM and its online feed broadcast the previous week’s service Sunday at 10:00, so radio listeners should not expect a live simulcast. Communion is usually offered every other week and the table is open to everyone. Sunday School for preschool through sixth grade meets during the school year from 10:00 to 10:45; fifth graders prepare for First Communion in spring. Vacation Bible School and confirmation camps use dated seasonal schedules. The current calendar also lists Tuesday Bible study at 9:30 a.m., but visitors should confirm recurring dates. Public pages do not specify dress, parking, accessibility, nursery care, child check-in, volunteer screening, or worship duration. Home Communion volunteers serve nursing homes, assisted living residents, and people who are homebound, offering a meaningful option beyond attendance.
