Elim Lutheran Church

About this church

Elim Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation in Robbinsdale that combines liturgical and informal musical traditions with prayer, intergenerational faith formation, community meals, and local service. The church describes itself as a family of God caring for the spiritual wellness of all people. Children are welcome in worship, and the building offers ramp or sidewalk access at every entrance, a ground-level auto-assist door, and an elevator to all floors.

Elim’s site says its former 9:30 liturgical and 11:00 gospel-influenced services will combine into one Sunday worship gathering at 10:30 a.m. beginning September 6. Sunday School for children ages three through fifth grade begins at 10:30 starting September 13, and youth in grades six through twelve return at that hour beginning October 4. Those dated transitions mean August visitors should still consult the weekly email or calendar rather than assume the later schedule has begun. A community meal is offered Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. except on holidays. The main parking lot is south of the building; Sunday-only overflow parking is available across the street at U.S. Bank. Families may use the children’s space in the front pew or the parlor for louder play.
