Faith Lutheran Church

About this church

Faith Lutheran Church gathers at 905 Hiawatha Drive East in Wabasha. Sunday worship begins at 9:00 a.m., with Sunday School during the service and coffee fellowship afterward. Worship combines music, a message, and Holy Communion; the congregation ordinarily offers Communion every Sunday and welcomes anyone who desires to receive God’s life and love. Services are also carried on local cable at several published times, and recordings are available through the church office and online.

The ELCA congregation describes itself as a people of God centered in Christ, called to witness and grow through worship, prayer, learning, service, and care. Founded in 1968, Faith first worshiped in a converted storefront before moving into its present building in 1985. Its community commitments include the ELCA World Hunger Appeal, local food shelves, Lutheran Disaster Response, scholarships, Bible camp, campus ministry, and a sister-synod relationship in Tanzania. Visitors can expect a single morning service with varied musical styles and shared participation rather than a performance-oriented format. Families should note that children’s formation happens during worship, while the fellowship time immediately afterward offers a natural opportunity to meet people and ask about current ministries.
