Meadowood Baptist Church

About this church

Meadowood Baptist Church is an Amory congregation combining small-group Bible study, a one-hour worship gathering, children’s ministry, missions, prayer, and creative service. Worship blends contemporary and traditional music led by choir and orchestra, while volunteers also contribute through cameras, livestream production, sound, photography, design, and construction. Families are encouraged to worship together when possible, with nursery care and secure check-in available for infants through age four. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade learn Scripture through age-appropriate activities and multimedia.

Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by worship at 10:00. Wednesday fellowship meal is served at 5:00 p.m., with evening service and activities at 6:00. During the school year, Grow Kids offers kindergarten through fifth grade high-energy worship, games, and Bible study after the meal. Children’s Choir rehearses Wednesday from 3:50 to 5:00 and presents seasonal programs. First-time nursery families should allow extra minutes to use the check-in kiosk and meet a trained volunteer. Dress ranges from suits to jeans, and the church encourages fellowship after worship. The worship choir requires no audition, while orchestra members are advised to have about two years’ experience on their instrument.
