Gaston Baptist Church

About this church

Gaston Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation near Booneville organized in 1883 by thirty people. Its public identity centers on one church family worshiping and serving one God while reaching the world for Jesus Christ. The congregation’s Baptist teaching, Sunday School, children, youth, missions education, local service, and long partnership in Belize link an established rural-church history with current discipleship and global mission.

Sunday School for every age begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30 and evening worship at 6:00. Wednesday prayer meeting starts at 7:00. Clothing ranges from suits and ties to relaxed attire, and guests are invited to wear what allows them to worship comfortably. Ushers can escort families to the correct classroom or nursery. Nursery care is available for every worship service and most events, while children ages three and four may attend Children’s Church during part of Sunday morning worship. Children’s choir starts Wednesday at 6:00, and Way Seekers combines Bible study, memorization, missions, and recreation. Student ministry includes fellowship, camps, activities, and mission trips. Public pages do not specify service length, parking, accessibility, secure pickup, volunteer screening, Communion practice, or livestreaming.
