The Empowerment Ministries Christian Center

About this church

Empowerment Ministries Christian Center meets at 11924 Klein Road in Gulfport with a mission organized around four steps: know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. Its visitor page describes a roughly 90-minute service with a worship team drawing from contemporary and traditional music, childcare, and activities for multiple age groups. The congregation maintains online access for military members who may be deployed or stationed away from the Gulf Coast.

Families can expect children in first through fifth grade to have worship, Bible teaching, and small-group time, while youth lessons are designed for age-appropriate discussion and practical faith. Adults can explore a four-part Growth Track that moves from learning about the church to identifying personal gifts, developing leadership, and joining a service team; a different step is offered on each Sunday of the month. One scheduling detail deserves care: the official homepage currently displays Sunday times of 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. in one section but also contains a 10:30 a.m. reference elsewhere. Because those notices conflict, newcomers should confirm the current service time before traveling. The first-visit guidance, however, is specific: casual welcome, mixed worship music, children’s care, and time to meet people afterward.
