About this church

Hardy Street Baptist Church is a century-old Southern Baptist congregation in central Hattiesburg committed to making disciples among its neighbors, the nations, and the next generation. The parking entrance is on 17th Avenue between the church and Hattiesburg Zoo; visitors enter below the Welcome Center sign, where the First Impressions team can direct adults, families, and child check-in.

Sunday School serves all ages at 9. Preschool extended care for birth through prekindergarten is available at 10:30, while third grade and older normally join the main service; kindergarten and older also join during June and July. Wednesday dinner starts at 5 p.m., followed at 6 by Bible study, children’s small groups, youth, and orchestra, with choir at 7.
