First Presbyterian Church

About this church

First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs offers two Sunday services at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. The earlier gathering uses an acoustic worship band, while the later service is traditional with organ and choir. Located in historic Ocean Springs, the congregation summarizes its mission as knowing Christ and making Christ known together and describes itself as a Christ-centered, multigenerational church where newcomers can find a place to belong.

The education building houses the nursery and younger children's Faith Foundations classes, while the sanctuary is the large building with the tall spire. Children's ministry serves birth through sixth grade, and youth ministry supports grades seven through twelve through classes, groups, prayer, and fellowship. Adult groups, women's ministry, care, mission partners, service projects, and online sermons offer additional ways to connect. Visitors should choose the musical style that best fits them, arrive early enough to cross the multi-building campus, and use the plan-a-visit page for parking and room guidance.
