Adams United Methodist Church

About this church

Adams United Methodist Church worships Sundays at 11 a.m. with nursery care provided. Communion and a Good Samaritan offering are observed on the first Sunday, and a potluck recognizes birthdays and anniversaries on the third. Children receive a brief message connected to the day's Scripture, then may remain in the sanctuary or join Children's Church for play and learning. Services and short devotional material are also available on demand through the church's digital channels.

Children's volunteers are vetted and background checked. A monthly after-worship program invites ages three through twelve to stay for lunch, a lesson, crafts, and fun, while giving caregivers a short break. Middle- and high-school students meet Sundays at 5 p.m. for discipleship and are encouraged to lead throughout church life. Adult Bible study follows at 6 in the fellowship hall. Methodist beliefs include infant and adult Baptism by pouring, sprinkling, or immersion and Holy Communion as both remembrance and an experience of Christ's presence in the gathered community. Since the children's after-church date is announced separately and some schedule labels remain “to be announced,” families should confirm the current calendar, nursery ages, accessibility, parking, and online-service link.
