River of Life Baptist Church

About this church

River of Life Baptist Church in Cameron begins Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:15. Its website describes the music as contemporary and offers Sunday School for the whole household, with nursery, children’s, youth, and adult classes. River Kids serves preschool through fifth grade with lessons designed to make biblical principles understandable and applicable. The congregation frames its ministries around three words—win, build, and send—connecting evangelism, relationships, service, and missions in Cameron and beyond.

Families will find two distinctive scouting-style programs: a Trail Life USA troop for boys and American Heritage Girls for girls, combining Christian formation with badges and outdoor activities. Student ministry is explicitly Christ-focused, while adults can choose men’s, women’s, or mixed classes, Life Groups, service projects, conferences, and a monthly men’s prayer breakfast. The church describes its vision as a growing, friendly fellowship that is positive in approach, firm in belief, evangelistic in purpose, and nurturing in ministry. At 811 South Walnut Street, River of Life may suit visitors looking for a Baptist congregation with a simple two-part Sunday schedule, contemporary music, classes for every generation, and clear pathways into groups and service.
