Evangel Church’s Kansas City campus meets Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. at 1414 East 103rd Street. Services pair a live band with a Bible-centered message, run a little over an hour, and have an upbeat, casual atmosphere; visitors wear everything from jeans to suits. Children’s programming is available during both services, though the age groupings differ. At 9:00, early childhood serves infants through age five and elementary ministry serves kindergarten through fifth grade. At 10:45, elementary classes cover kindergarten through third grade, while grades four through six meet in a preteen service at the Student Center. Families can preregister children for a faster, secure check-in. Students in grades seven through twelve have a group at 10:45, and grades six through twelve gather Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Adults wanting the broadest family schedule may prefer 9:00; households with preteens or older students may find 10:45 more tailored. The church also offers online worship, adult groups, a food pantry, foster and adoptive-family ministry, and mission trips.
