Living Lord Lutheran Church

About this church

Living Lord Lutheran Church offers three weekend services in Lake St. Louis: contemporary worship at 5 p.m. Saturday, traditional Lutheran worship at 8 a.m. Sunday, and an energetic contemporary service with Children's Church at 10:30. All three are livestreamed. Services follow the ancient Christian sequence of gathering, the liturgy of the Word, the liturgy of the Meal, and sending, even as their music and atmosphere differ. Worshipers should use the upper parking lot and front entrance; the lower lot serves the office, preschool, and meetings.

Children from preschool through fifth grade meet during the Sunday 9:15 to 10:15 Learning Hour, with nursery, Children's Church, monthly fourth- and fifth-grade activities, youth groups, and Confirmation filling out the family ministry. Middle- and high-school students gather on Sunday for lunch, games, conversation, large-group teaching, and small-group time grounded in the Apostles' Creed, Lord's Prayer, and Ten Commandments. Interest groups give neighbors another way to connect around hobbies and activities, including gatherings on the second Saturday. The church's mission joins intergenerational relationships, practical biblical teaching, and local or international service. Newcomers can choose worship style and time, then confirm the appropriate age-group schedule.
