Marshfield First

About this church

Marshfield First schedules Sunday worship for 8 and 10:30 a.m. at 1001 South White Oak Road, with all-age Connect Groups between services at 9:15. Guests enter through the main doors near the Worship Center, and a Next Steps table helps them find the right group. Clothing ranges from dressier to casual. Wednesday ministry begins at 6:30 for all ages, while student hangout opens at 6 before the youth service.

Children from birth through fifth grade learn the Bible through Sunday and midweek discipleship developed in partnership with parents and grandparents. Childcare for age four and younger is available during both worship hours, and grade-based Connect Groups meet at 9:15. Midweek Kids uses games, crafts, service projects, and memory challenges for ages four through fifth grade, with younger care for parents attending groups. Students split Sunday Connect Groups by grade and gender after a large-group lesson; Wednesday includes food, games, worship, teaching, prayer, and extended social time. Adults may try different Connect Groups, though the church recommends several consecutive visits before deciding. A household can worship together at either service and use the middle hour for every age, making the morning schedule unusually flexible. Weekday preschool and childcare also serve ages six weeks through twelve years for families seeking ongoing care beyond church programming.
