Church of Christ

About this church

Oak Grove Church of Christ begins Sunday Bible classes at 9:30 a.m. and also gathers Sunday evenings at 5:00 at 104 Southwest Sixth Street. A Wednesday Bible study starts at 7:00 p.m. The congregation describes worship as simple, reverent, and warm, seeking to follow the pattern of the New Testament church without a highly produced format.

Its worship guide prepares guests for congregational singing, prayer, Scripture, preaching, the Lord’s Supper, and giving, while making clear that visitors are welcome to observe. Bible classes and recurring youth rallies add teaching beyond the assembly, including events focused on discernment and durable Christian habits. People comparing Churches of Christ can use the detailed worship page to understand the congregation’s practice before arriving rather than relying on denominational stereotypes. Sunday Bible class is the clearest published morning entry, while the evening gathering and Wednesday study offer additional options. The site’s schedule page does not display a morning worship time as clearly as its class time, so newcomers should confirm the complete current Sunday order directly before planning around a service not listed here.
