Cornerstone Community Church

About this church

Cornerstone Church in Savannah, Missouri, known locally as the little white church on the hill between St. Joseph and Savannah, is a non-denominational congregation that gathers for worship Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Services mix traditional hymns with newer worship songs. On the first Sunday of each month the church holds Mission Sunday, with coffee, donuts, and fellowship starting at 10 a.m. before the service begins. The church's statement of faith covers topics such as the inspiration of the Bible, the Trinity, water baptism by immersion, baptism in the Holy Spirit, and divine healing.

A Bible study meets Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m., and children's church is offered for kindergarten through sixth grade. Services are streamed live on the church's Facebook page, which is also where upcoming events and announcements are posted, so it is a good place to check for current information before a visit. The church sits along Highway 71, and the website notes that everyone is welcome, including people looking for a home church. Visitors with questions can call the church office or send a message through the contact page. Schedules can change, so confirm service times on the website or Facebook page before attending.
