St. Ambrose Catholic Church on The Hill in St. Louis celebrates Saturday Mass at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday Mass at 7:00, 9:00, and 11:00 a.m. The 11:00 Mass on the first Sunday of each month is celebrated in Italian. Weekday Mass is offered Monday through Friday at 6:30 a.m. and noon, with additional school and evening times, plus Saturday at 8:00. Reconciliation is available weekdays from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m., after the 5:30 p.m. Mass Monday through Thursday, and Saturday from 3:30 to 4:15.

Founded by Italian immigrants and known as “The Heart of The Hill,” St. Ambrose pairs its heritage with active sacramental life. Children’s Liturgy of the Word gathers children during the 9:00 Sunday Mass for Scripture presented at their level, then returns them for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Mass is available through YouTube, and Eucharistic Adoration is available around the clock through the accessible side entrance in the parking lot; visitors should call the parish office for the door code. The Rosary follows the 6:30 weekday Mass, with a Fatima Rosary in the Wilson Avenue garden on the thirteenth of each month at 6:00 p.m. The church is at 5130 Wilson Avenue.
