Refresh Community Church

About this church

Refresh Community Church meets in University City, Missouri, at 829 N. Hanley Road, just outside St. Louis. Sunday worship is held at 8:00, 10:00 and 12:00, in person and online, except that the 8:00 service is not streamed. Music draws on gospel, hymns and contemporary songs, followed by a sermon that sometimes works through whole books of the Bible and sometimes takes up a topic. Services last about 90 minutes, and dress is whatever is comfortable. Parking can fill up at the 10:00 service, so the church runs a continuous shuttle from a lot a couple of blocks away, and street parking is also available.

Refresh Kids serves children from six months through fifth grade with age-appropriate teaching, a sensory room, and family spaces such as a nursing mothers' room, a family room and a lobby play space with the livestream. Refresh Next serves sixth through twelfth graders. Adults can join Life Groups that meet in homes, Connect Groups built around shared interests, or Grow Cohorts for deeper discipleship, and there are ministries for women, men and young adults. Grow Night offers a shared meal and classes during spring and fall sessions. The site also lists care and counseling, serving teams and missions. Confirm times on the website.
