Journey Church

About this church

Journey Church in Butte moved to two Sunday services on July 19, 2026, with worship at 9 and 10:45 a.m. and prayer thirty minutes before each service at 8:30 and 10:15. The current transition notice says Journey Kids for age three through sixth grade is available only at 9 until September 13; nursery and preschool remain available at both services. Beginning September 13, the full children's program is scheduled for both hours. The later service is streamed online. School-year Journey Youth for grades seven through twelve meets Wednesday from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.

The church's framework is connect, grow, and serve, and its mission is to know Jesus and make him known. Connection means worship and authentic relationships; growth means learning to live for Christ in ordinary life; service extends through the local church, the Butte community, and mission support. Life Groups build relationships through prayer, study, meals, and mutual support, with many meeting twice monthly in homes rather than at one churchwide hour. A visitor choosing between services should account for the dated children's transition, especially before September 13. Families with nursery or preschool children have both options, older children currently use 9, and online participants use 10:45. Youth households should also distinguish the school-year Wednesday rhythm from summer programming.
