Dillon Baptist Church

About this church

Sunday School at Dillon Baptist Church begins at 10 a.m., followed by the main service at 11; evening worship is at 6, and Wednesday service is at 7. Sermons are livestreamed and archived through SermonAudio, and a Sunday radio broadcast airs locally. The congregation's teaching emphasizes the King James Bible, verse-by-verse exposition from Genesis through Revelation, salvation through Christ, heaven and hell, baptism, and Communion. That detailed statement helps visitors recognize a conservative independent-Baptist approach before attending.

Families can use a nursery for children through age four, while Sunday School and Junior Church serve ages five through twelve. AWANA meets Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for potty-trained children age three through twelve, combining Scripture memorization, games, acted Bible stories, and friendships. Youth and young adults meet Friday evenings during summer for sports, food, Bible study, and fellowship; during the school year the group shifts to the last Sunday of each month beginning at noon. Drivers may use either the on-site lot or nearby street spaces. Newcomers can preview recorded preaching, arrive for the 10 and 11 a.m. Sunday sequence, and confirm seasonal youth dates before planning an additional visit.
