Carson Valley Bible Church

About this church

Carson Valley Bible Church is an evangelical congregation in Minden focused on following Jesus and helping others follow him. Its current homepage advertises Sunday services at 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. at 1701 Lucerne Street, though an older contact page still displays 9:30. Because the official pages conflict, visitors should confirm the time directly before attending rather than rely on the older listing. The church presents the gospel as life-changing and describes its desired community as authentic, Bible-grounded, and committed to growing together.

The children’s program uses separate rooms for ages one to three, three to six, and seven to eleven. Older children begin in worship and are dismissed around the sermon; matching security tags are used at pickup. On the first Sunday of the month, the two older rooms pause for family worship, and children eleven and older are generally encouraged to remain in the service. Mission partnerships range from Love Justice in Nepal and Mission Aviation Fellowship to church planting in Scotland, pastoral training, biblical counseling in Nevada, and pregnancy and new-parent support through City of Refuge. Those concrete partnerships give visitors a useful view of where the congregation directs service beyond its own campus.
