Calvary Chapel Gloucester County

About this church

Calvary Chapel Gloucester County is a Christian congregation on Route 42 in Blackwood, New Jersey, with the guiding phrase “to know Him and make Him known.” Its teaching approach emphasizes working through the whole Bible and pairing biblical truth with the love modeled by Jesus. Although the church draws people regionally, its official site stresses intentional service to nearby neighborhoods and partnerships with local organizations. Ministry options include Calvary Kids, Foundry Youth, men’s and women’s Bible study, seniors, and support for missionaries and organizations such as Young Life and Wycliffe Bible Translators. That mix gives the church both a local outreach focus and visible connections to global Bible translation and missions.

Sunday services meet at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:15 a.m.; the 9:30 gathering is livestreamed. Wednesday midweek worship begins at 7:00 p.m. Nursery and children’s ministry are available during the two later Sunday services and on Wednesday, while middle-school youth meet during the 9:30 service and older students attend the sanctuary gathering. The church is at 5360 Route 42. Three Sunday choices make a first visit flexible, but families wanting age-specific care should choose 9:30 or 11:15 rather than the earliest service. Men’s Bible study and the seniors’ PEP gathering follow twice-monthly patterns, so their calendars should be checked separately.
