Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church

About this church

Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Fair Lawn offers Sunday School for children, youth, and adults at 9:45 a.m., morning worship at 11:00, and evening worship at 6:00 p.m. Visitors can expect a traditional Reformed service with Psalms and hymns accompanied by piano, creeds, corporate prayer, Scripture, and preaching. Clothing ranges from suits and dresses to jeans and business-casual attire. An usher provides the bulletin and order of worship, and the church's visitor page explains the entrance and facilities. This level of detail helps newcomers anticipate a formal but accessible worship pattern.

Grace belongs to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and uses the Westminster Confession and catechisms to summarize its beliefs. The congregation began in 1945, when its first service was held in the basement of a newly purchased manse. Current ministries include children's Sunday School and a Thursday evening Crossroads Addictions Ministry from 7:30 to 9:00. That recovery program is explicitly Bible based and Christ centered, seeking to address addiction's effects on individuals, families, and the community. Grace will be most relevant to visitors looking for two Lord's Day services, confessional Presbyterian teaching, historic hymnody, and a congregation that connects doctrinal formation with a recurring local recovery ministry.
