Woodside Chapel

About this church

Woodside Chapel begins Sundays at 9:30 a.m. with the Lord's Supper, a weekly remembrance of Jesus' death and resurrection using bread and wine. The church invites born-again Christians personally committed to following Christ's biblical teaching to participate. At 11, the Family Bible Hour offers a traditional chapel service with worship singing and Bible teaching, while Sunday School serves ages two through 18 in age-based classes and nursery care is available. Recorded Family Bible Hour messages can help newcomers hear the range of past speakers. A public reading of Scripture with discussion follows Sundays at 6 p.m.

The weekday rhythm includes a Tuesday prayer meeting at 7 p.m., men's Bible study at 7:30, and women's studies on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The morning women's gathering opens for breakfast and free childcare at 9, begins praise and study at 9:30, and ends at 11:30. Junior and senior high activities use a separate schedule, while a missionary prayer meeting occurs online on the first Monday except July and August. Woodside is independent of a denomination and has worshiped in the Fanwood area since 1952, growing from an earlier Westfield assembly that gathered for Scripture, fellowship, Communion, and prayer. The official pages do not detail service length, visitor attire, parking capacity, accessible entrances, assistive listening, nursery check-in, child-safety policies, or livestreaming, so guests with those needs should contact the chapel in advance.
